The DR machine, also known as Digital Radiology, is a modern imaging method in which X-rays are directed at the animal’s body and then received by a special device that converts them into digital signals. The panel that the X-rays are directed at is made of a polished material such as silicon, cesium, or selenium, which converts the radiation into light and then generates a digital signal. This panel comes in various sizes, and the imaging process takes only a few seconds, whereas other imaging methods can take several minutes.
